I am blessed with five children and have four academic degrees, including a PhD in immunology and an MBA. I spent about 16 years in the pharmaceutical and medical-device industries and served as CEO of two startups.
But in early 2024, I decided to change direction.
Late 2023
Over the years, I noticed something remarkable: at school we study mathematics, history, English, and many other important subjects, yet almost no one teaches us how to manage our money.
The cost of that knowledge gap can reach hundreds of thousands of shekels, and sometimes even more, over a lifetime.
I decided that I wanted to help change that.
January 2024
I founded Financially Smart and began teaching people how to understand their money better and make more informed financial decisions.
I developed the digital course “A Financial Plan for Life”, which brings together the things everyone should know about money, and “The Safe Path to Your First Home”, which makes the path to buying a home easier to understand.
At the same time, I delivered lectures and workshops and supported young people and couples at the beginning of their journey who wanted to bring order to their finances.
September 2025
I created and delivered a financial-education program for high-school students, giving the next generation practical tools for sound financial management before they begin living independently (GEFEN Program #64156).
Alongside my work in the field, I expanded my professional financial knowledge through training in family financial counseling and certification as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
January 2026
At a certain point, I realized that Israel has a great deal of high-quality financial information.
The problem is that it is scattered everywhere: across government websites, the Bank of Israel, the Capital Market Authority, the stock exchange, social media, and dozens of other sites.
It is no wonder people get lost.
A site where people can find information, guides, comparisons, data, and calculators in one place—presented simply, clearly, accessibly, and in multiple languages—so that as many people in Israel as possible can use them.
The goal is to give you the information and tools to understand your options, ask the right questions, and make better financial decisions for yourself.
